The Chief and Calla Bell Scholarship Foundation’s fund continues to grow and, at the end of 2022, reached over $1.2M allowing us to grant $65,052 in scholarships for the 2023 summer. Our goal is to raise the endowment value so that C+CBSF can confidently fund all of the qualified applicants each summer. Every gift makes a difference to meet another milestone on this trail and there are many ways to give. Remember a camp alum or honor a current staff member as a powerful way to create a tribute. Remember or honor a camp alum, a current staff member or someone special through your gift as a powerful way to create a tribute. With a gift or pledge of $100,000, you can establish a Named Scholarship to pay tribute to a loved one, camp alum, preserve a family name or highlight company support of C+CBSF’s mission. Pledges can be made over a maximum of 5 years. Named Scholarships will be recognized in award notification letters to recipients, as well as on our digital platforms and in print materials. An outright gift of appreciated stock or securities offers you substantial tax benefits. You receive an income tax deduction equal to the full fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift.
