About C+CBSF

Founded in the mid-nineties in memory of the founders of camps Mondamin and Green Cove, C+CBSF offers scholarships to provide the summer camp experience. Learn more about what we do, how we do it, discover our history and meet our current Board of Directors.

Our Mission

Continuing the legacy of Chief and Calla Bell by providing financial support, so children discover the richness of the outdoors, form enduring friendships, and develop confidence and maturity through the unique experience of summer camp.

Scholarships

Our focus is providing the summer camp experience through scholarships to campers who need financial support. All recipients’ families make some financial contribution towards their tuition. Applicants range from families who need just a bit of help to make camp fit the budget to those who need the majority of tuition covered.

OUR STORY

In memory of Chief and Calla Bell

Chief and Calla Bell spent their summers directing Mondamin and Green Cove respectively from their founding until their children Frank and Nancy took over in 1973 and 1980. In their time as directors and long before a formal scholarship fund was established, Chief and Calla covered much of the cost of camp for children whose families did not have the resources to send them.  Our mission is to continue this philanthropic legacy.
